Too Young, Too Old

bran This album combines bossa nova with complex lo-fi movements, making for an incredibly enjoyable listen. Favorite track: Ty, Ty.

Dr. Beaf This album is like a mullet. Funky Electro at the front, then chilled and relaxed at the back, and, his most palatable release yet. There's a bit crammed in with generous splashes of atmospheric synth pads and strings. The drums toggle from track to track (but half are just rhythmless tranquil tunes) between cheap cheesy sequencers to some pretty impressive sample usage. Entirely unique fusion of sounds wrapped in a different type of flair than the 'usual'. Very nice. Favorite track: Doodler's Dream.

rpm This album gets me in trouble with my girlfriend - while listening it's undeniably apparent how much I actually do like to dance. On another note, I've fallen in love with the album's Eno-like drift from punchy dance track at the start to abstract meditation by the end. Favorite track: Doodler's Dream.
